Calligraphics [Paul Veres] Calligraphics is Paul Veres' outfit in Berkeley, CA. Paul Veres was born in 1944 in Budapest, and started out as a calligrapher and graphic designer. He is the creator of Caterina (1999-2004, Psy/Ops; a calligraphic sans used in some places by movie director Francis Ford Coppola), and of Linotype Banjoman Roman (1996, an avant-garde font) and Linotype Aperto at Linotype (1995-1996: a lapidary typeface).
